As you know I primarily use PaintTool Sai to make my updates, but I really want to start including small animations in those posts.

So what programs do people usually use? What works well with SAI?

  5. asksparklesanddashie answered: If you have Photoshop, you can just draw the frames in SAI and then use PS to animate them. It’s easy, and it gives you great quality GIF’s

  7. ask-night-mare answered: Photoshop does, but it’s not a free, nor even close-to-cheap program.
  8. sweetiebotreplies answered: Either drop the image files into Flash or into GIMP. Despite what asklyra says, you don’t need to use MS gif animator to edit frame times.
  9. asklyra answered: You can import into GIMP to make it an animated gif, then use Microsoft Gif Animator to edit the frame time.
